Toyota Hilux gets meaner! New Black Edition launched: Check prices, what’s different

Toyota has launched a new special edition of its rugged pickup truck, the Hilux Black Edition, in India. Priced at Rs 37.90 lakh, ex-showroom, this edition makes it look even meaner and bolder. Bookings for the Hilux Black Edition are now open, with deliveries set to begin in March 2025 itself. Here’s a look at what the Hilux Black Edition has on offer.
Toyota Hilux Black Edition: All you need to know
The Hilux Black Edition features a black treatment across its exterior. The changes include a black front grille, 18-inch black alloy wheels with customized hub caps, and blacked-out ORVMs, door handles, fender garnish, and fuel lid garnish. A sporty touch is added with the front bumper featuring an Under Run, while it also gets swept-back LED headlamps and LED rear combination lamps.
Moving inside, the cabin is wrapped in leather upholstery and comes equipped with dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-way powered driver seat, an electrochromic IRVM, a reverse parking camera, and cruise control.
Toyota Hilux Black Edition: Engine
Under the hood, the Hilux Black Edition retains its 2.8-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine, producing 201 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and features a four-wheel-drive system with an electronic differential lock.
