PM Modi to visit Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, take holy dip at Sangam on February 5

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj on February 5. At around 11 AM, he will take a holy dip at the Sangam and offer prayers to Maa Ganga.
World’s largest spiritual gathering
Maha Kumbh 2025, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13, 2025), is the world’s largest spiritual and cultural congregation, drawing millions of devotees and pilgrims from across the globe. The grand event will continue until Mahashivratri on February 26.
Development push for pilgrimage sites
Prime Minister Modi has consistently focused on preserving and promoting India’s spiritual heritage. As part of these efforts, he has undertaken several initiatives to enhance infrastructure at pilgrimage sites. During his previous visit to Prayagraj on December 13, 2024, he inaugurated 167 development projects worth Rs 5,500 crore, aimed at improving connectivity, amenities, and public services for devotees.
