NLSAT 2025 application deadline extended: Candidates can apply till March 30
NLSAT 2025: The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bengaluru has announced that the application deadline for the National Law School Admission Test (NLSAT) 2025 has been extended until March 30. This extension provides a crucial opportunity for candidates who missed the initial deadline to apply for the highly anticipated entrance exam for admission to the three-year LLB courses at NLSIU.
The NLSAT 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on April 27 from 10 am to 12:30 pm. Candidates aspiring to secure a seat in the prestigious LLB programme can now submit their applications through the official website, nls.ac.in. The extended deadline gives students additional time to complete their registration and secure their place in the competitive examination process.
How to apply for NLSAT 2025
Interested candidates can fill out the NLSAT 2025 application form on the admissions portal of NLSIU. To submit the form, applicants will need to provide their personal details, educational qualifications, and pay the application fee. The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 2,500, while candidates from SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories are required to pay Rs 2,000. The application form will remain open until 11:59 pm on March 30.
Candidates should note that to be eligible for NLSAT 2025, they must have completed their graduation from a recognised university. General category candidates must have secured at least 45% marks, while SC and ST candidates must have obtained a minimum of 40%. Candidates who are currently appearing for their final year exams can also apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria before taking admission to the course.
NLSAT 2025 seat matrix and exam details
NLSIU Bengaluru will offer 120 seats for the three-year LLB programme under various categories. The reservation policy is as follows:
• Scheduled Castes (SC): 15%
• Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%
• Other Backward Classes (OBC): 27%
• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 10%
• Horizontal reservation for persons with disabilities: 5%
• Horizontal reservation for women: 30%
• Horizontal reservation for Karnataka students: 25%

The NLSAT 2025 exam will consist of two parts: Part A will include multiple-choice questions (MCQs), while Part B will comprise subjective-type questions.
