Honda City Apex editon launched in India at Rs 13.30 lakh: Differences explained

Honda Cars India recently launched the Honda Elevate Apex edition. And now, the company has launched the Honda City Apex edition in the Indian market. The Apex edition is an accessory package available on the mid-spec V and VX trims priced from Rs 13.3 lakh to Rs 15.62 (ex-showroom). The Apex package is priced at Rs 25,000 more than the trim it is based on and it brings a few exterior and interior cosmetic enhancements.

Interested customers can book the City Apex edition by visiting their nearest Honda dealership or online, the City Apex edition will be available in limited numbers and is offered in both MT and CVT variants and with all colour options. The V MT is priced at Rs 13.30 lakh, V CVT is priced at Rs 14.55 lakh, VX MT is priced at Rs 14.37 lakh and VX CVT is priced at Rs 15.62 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

The City Apex edition features Apex Edition badges on the front fenders and the boot lid, other than this there are no changes made to the sedan. The most notable changes are found inside, the dashboard, door pads, and centre console now feature a leatherette finish, while the Apex Edition comes with exclusive seat covers and cushions. This package also includes 7-color ambient lighting around the instrument panel and inside the door pockets. Interestingly, the ambient lighting kit is also available as a standalone accessory for ₹7,500 across all trims.

Features wise, it gets an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, LED DRLs with projector headlamps, LED taillights, automatic climate control, push-button start/stop, 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, connected car tech, 4.2-inch MID, TPMS, hill-start assist, six airbags, lane watch camera, sunroof, wireless charger, rear reading lamps, auto emergency braking system, adaptive Cruise Control, lane keep/departure assist, lead Car Departure notification, automatic high beam and more.
Talking about the engine and gearbox, the City is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cyl, NA petrol engine which puts out 121bhp and 145Nm of torque and comes paired either with a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic.
