Audi RS Q8 facelift India launch tomorrow: Gets a 4.0-litre V8

Audi India is all set to launch the new and updated Audi RS Q8 facelift Performance SUV in the Indian market tomorrow i.e., February 17, 2025. Bookings for the new RS Q8 are already underway with the booking amount set at Rs 5 lakh. Interested customers can book the SUV exclusively online and myAudi Connect app.
The new RS Q8 will be bought to India via the CBU route and is expected to be offered in a fully loaded single variant with prices starting from Rs 1.8 crores (ex-showroom). The Performance SUV will compete with the Lamborghini Urus, Porsche Cayenne GTS and also the BMW XM. The RS Q8 is essentially the performance version of the regular Q8 and features a distinct sporty exterior design, additional features and a much more powerful engine.

In terms it design, the overall silhouette looks the same as the Q8 but the RS Q8 looks much bolder and aggressive. It features a refreshed black grille with a 3D honeycomb pattern and carbon-fibre elements on the front lip and air vents. It also gets re-designed front and rear bumpers with larger air intakes. It also gets LED Matrix headlights and OLED taillights, other highlights include red callipers, sleek roof rails, integrated rear spoiler, customisable DRLs, shark fin antenna, large dual exhaust and more. It also gets 22-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels as standard, customers can also opt for bigger 23-inch ones at an extra cost.

Moving inside, the overall layout is the same as before but it now gets different upholstery with new sports seats. In terms of features, it gets four-zone climate control, a B&O Advanced sound system, a digital virtual cockpit, a powered tailgate, RS drive modes, 360-degree cameras, hands-free parking, and a lot more. It also features active roll stabilisation, all-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension and the new Quattro sport differential.
Talking about the powertrain, the new RS Q8 gets a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 640hp of power and 850Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system and is capable of accelerating from 0-100kph in 3.6 seconds.
