Aprilia Tuono 457 launched at Rs 3.95 lakh: Engine, features, bookings & more
Aprilia India has finally launched the Tuono 457, marking its entry as the most affordable model from the Italian brand in the country. The model was first showcased at the EICMA 2024. Priced at Rs 3.95 lakh, ex-showroom, the Tuono 457 undercuts its fully-faired sibling, the RS 457, by Rs 25,000. Bookings for the motorcycle are now open, with deliveries set to begin in March.

Unlike the RS 457, it sheds the full fairing for a muscular yet minimalist design. The front end features a centrally-stacked small headlamp unit flanked by boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. Adding to its sporty appeal are the extended tank shrouds, exposed frame, split seats, and a floating tail section. Furthermore, it also gets an underbelly exhaust. Aprilia is offering the Tuono 457 in two colours: Piranha Red and Puma Grey.

At its heart, the Tuono 457 is powered by the same 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine found in the RS 457. This motor delivers 47 hp and 43.5 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Just like the RS 457, it will offer a quickshifter, but as an optional accessory.

As for hardware, the Tuono 457 features preload-adjustable USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear for the suspension duties. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle runs on 17-inch alloy wheels.
On the features front, Aprilia has equipped the Tuono 457 with a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, traction control, multiple riding modes, and switchable ABS. The brand is also offering a three-year warranty and complimentary service for three years.
