2025 TVS Ronin launched at Rs 1.35 lakh: What’s changed

TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 iteration of the Ronin, with prices starting at Rs 1.35 lakh, ex-showroom. The model was first showcased at the MotoSoul event in Goa last year and brings fresh colour options along with upgraded features, albeit for the mid-spec variant only. Here, let’s take a look at what’s new.
2025 TVS Ronin: What’s changed
While the overall design remains familiar, the 2025 Ronin gets two new colour options: Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember. Additionally, TVS has made a notable update to the mid-spec DS variant by equipping it with dual-channel ABS, a feature that was previously exclusive to the top-spec TD variant.
Other than that, the motorcycle remains the same in terms of design, dimensions, powertrain and feature list which includes a digital instrument cluster that continues to offer Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation via the SmartXonnect system.
2025 TVS Ronin: Engine and hardware
The 2025 Ronin is powered by the same 225.9cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine as before. This motor produces 20.4 hp 19.93 Nm of peak torque. For transmission duties, it employs a five-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
As for hardware, the Ronin features 41 mm USD front forks and a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. Stopping power comes from a 300 mm front disc, 240 mm rear disc setup. It now comes with dual-channel ABS on the mid-spec and top-spec trim.
2025 TVS Ronin: Price
The Ronin’s base model starts at Rs 1.35 lakh, ex-showroom. The mid-spec DS variant, now equipped with dual-channel ABS, comes at Rs 1.59 lakh, while the top-spec TD trim is priced at Rs 1.68 lakh. Additionally, a special edition variant is available at Rs 1.72 lakh, ex-showroom.
